I understand why the free version comes with ads (even though most people dont respond to this sort of advertising).Worst yet the ads are not for reputable businesses. Chinese scam companies fake weight loss solutions gambling websites etc...

Such a shame. Tried to play again but far to many adverts to play other games. So found another game from adverts with no adverts when playing

Scammers Paradise!

The game itself is fun but unfortunately the powers that be don’t care about the sheer amount of romance fraud scammers there are on there using photos of real (older bearded) men lol. All are widowed and work on oil rigs or US army or orthopaedic surgeons …🙄 I’ve played for years and know their scripts word for word but as soon as I try reporting them the report immediately comes back ‘ not violated terms and conditions’.. maybe it takes a few people to report them before they take notice I don’t know. But I do know from watching TV programmes about them that they find vulnerable women and take their homes and money from them! If a player reports someone for fraud/chat then you should absolutely take them down immediately before they find someone vulnerable!!!Personally I’d advise people not to reply if someone messages just in case. I do so just to see the script they use and then report them.If you do carry on on another platform just to see how they ask for money it’s hilarious. They call you eventually (but refuse video calls) and don’t even bother to hide their African accents…🤣🤣🤣

I’ve been playing this “game” for many…

I’ve been playing this “game” for many years at first it was fun and honest then they became WOKE and started to not accept ACTUAL English words they found “offensive” even though they were in every English dictionary. Then they started allowing players to make up strange weird words that are NOT in any dictionary but “words with friends accepts these words though there is NO definition” so those players who keep paying monthly fees can win games. Now they are NOT accepting actual words from players who play just for the fun and are not paying their fees so payers can win. FYI: they just denied my work eject as not acceptable. One more thought they allow women maybe to play who are looking for men who have money to play with them….just my opinion but real.

Keep getting matched with weirdos

My complaint isnt about the game itself but about the weirdos you get matched with. All men all asking personal questions or just want to chat. Not interested in playing the game. Not once have I been matched with a woman. Play with real friends or not at all.

I love the game BUT I purchased the rewards pass because I wanted some extra coins and they make it look like you get over 500 coins with the purchase BUT that is a lie! You don’t get ANY coins with the rewards pass it only gives you more missions to earn coins but takes away your ability to get the daily coins by watching the ads since it’s ad free. I Will Never Purchase Again from these lying cheaters!

The game is now just a money grab

The game is now just a money grab I have been playing since 2013 and paid for the ad free version years back but now its a constant upgrade to premium in your face all the time... Time to look elsewhere for a less irritating game.

Solo Challenge has become a battle.

Over the past nine years I have come to enjoy Words With Friends particularly the weekly Solo Challenge that renewed every Monday. That is until recently. Now the Solo Challenge has become a battle with a robot armed with letters and points that leaves me in the dust. What was once relaxing has now become just another source of frustration. The good news is this frustration is avoidable.

I have stopped playing WWF

I have stopped playing WWF. The games they advertise are violent showing various ways to kill people. They make it so meaningless. An impressionable person could easily become more desensitized by watching this violence. Good riddance.

Ad Scam

Its really annoying when ads dont allow you to close them after running. Total scam. I will NEVER buy from Progressive as a result. Shame on you WWF for treating your customers like a joke!

WoRds with friends has won. I give up. They do not provide support and their help button is a joke. Their help is completely automated…no one helps. Now it locks up when you play. I reinstalled…DO NOT DO THAT….why? You’ll lose your level points and no one will give them back….I am done with these programmers….they are suspect at best. I would give them a zero rating but this app won’t allow it

I think they make up words. The harder the game gets the crappier your letters get.

The game itself is ok

The game itself is ok tho I’ve noticed some stupid changes. I like buying the extra coins but NEVER get them. I get stupid things that r not useful to me. I’m just angry I paid for extra coins. I won’t b doing that anymore cause I’m sick of being ripped off.

A game for children or adults?

This game gets worse by the day. They need to decide who their market is. Is it children or adults. Older players are NOT interested in badges stickers ads that fail to load or linking to Facebook. Paid for my version of words with friends some time ago - but pop ups appear all the time to get me to pay again for a premium version - very annoying.The dictionary is very poor and doesn’t include many of the words on the official scrabble word list for NZ.

FRUSTRATING NOW AND TRASHY

SO FRUSTRATING. Not worth even one star now. I paid to upgrade ages ago waste of money because they have changed what I paid for and filled it with irritating pop-ups so I cannot even get to my real games with my real friends. I only want to play with my friends. Stop dominating my games with pop-up challenges random made-up opponents with stupid names. Then I have to resign and accept a loss. I dont want tokens and random challenges. JUST LET ME PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS!This game used to be good.

I am so tired of how long it takes for an ad to pop up and then how many ads you have for the amount of time you get to play is ridiculous. I really enjoy playing the game but I don’t get to play the game as much as watch all the advertisements.

I’m a long time player with WWF

I’m a long time player with WWF. I currently have over 130 consecutive wins but cannot win at Solo Challenge. I too think the game is rigged. Also I would rather win coins than badges which are useless and childish. I’m not excited about playing anymore I’m ready too move on to something else.

Adverts

I understand that adverts allow you to watch the game free and don’t have a problem with this.My problem is I have poor eyesight and the people that design the adverts make them difficult to close by :~Having tiny buttons to close the ad.Hiding the button within other graphics.Having buttons almost the same colour as the background they are on.These tricks are presumably perpetrated by the designers to force you to read the advert rather than just close it without looking. What it actually does is discriminate against people with eye problems and take enjoyment out of playing the game. I often end up stuck on an advert and have to close the game to get out of it. If I am watching an advert to opens new levels of word wheel it means it doesn’t work. If it is an advert between games it doesn’t matter but it does break the continuity and ruin the enjoyment.Solitaire cash is one of the worst. Not only are some of their ads seemingly impossible to close some of them just crash the game entirely.Do the developers of words with friends not care that their game is ruined by other companies?

Solo Challenge repeats players Even after completion of games!!Fails to progress to next level players????? While the Computer player has an advantage over us players the fun in play is missing in 2022 NEW rules!! Gradually Solo game drains out the fun n renders an unpleasant experience!!! Resolved never again Solo game due to disrespect to PLAYERS!!!
