I saw a link for a bet £50 get £25 free bet offer went on the site and said that had expired was now bet £20 and get £10 which comes as 2 £5 free bets one is 24 hours after the other managed to bet one and the other had somehow expired chat were clueless and were telling me it’ll be credited later today which makes no sense as would be 48 hours later and already says expired. Waste of time and just lost £20 for nothing

Please stay away honestly do not trust these people my mother opened an account and she deposited £50 which she should not have done because she suffers with dementia tried on a number of occasions to get a refund but no response we have now started legal proceedings please please stay away they are thieves

I began gambling in one of their retail premises back in 2022 I was unemployed with a long term health condition and a mum of two disabled children.I would place sports bets mainly on the SSBTs or at times over the counter using cash 85% of the time. Bets would range from £50-2000 at a time. No refusal or restrictions ever occurred.If bets would lose I would return and double the stake to accommodate the previous loss etc. My activity as spiralled over an 8 month period where I was allowed to lose over £27000 of money I had borrowed incurred substantial amounts of debt which I am still repaying.All staff were aware of my activity staff having conversations on how to lay bet markets showing me on personal devices staff also frequently facetiming their grown children whilst at work.I have raised a complaint with this company in relation to their social responsibility failures and their AML Breaches relating to my activities Ive supplied them with bet slips for all activity bank statements and a full personal account of my activities.They responded via solicitors initially citing that they could only find over counter data and based on that activity I was not in a negative net position. This was argues and evidenced that ONLY 15% of ALL activity was done over the counter and using a debit card. Since this failure to review correctly they reassigned the case to another as solicitors. These solicitors have contacted stating that despite ALL evidence for all points raised in the dispute being supplied 11 months ago in full that figures and activity must of been fabricated despite having all bet slips and bank statement information linking all activity and that their client had a policy to check customers source of funds only when a customer has LOST £20000. They attempted to dispute that I did not meet this threshold until 2 days before their shop shut down. However I have again sent them the evidence thru claim their client could not find which in fact shows that this threshold was reached 4 months prior to the store closure and no one had completed the source of wealth checks required.This was all submitted to Starsports (jade Leisure) solicitors back at the beginning of October 2025 and to date I have had NO RESPONSE.I had 50+ payday loans bank loans doorstep loans etc all during the period of activity and had they asked for my statements as they should my activity would have been terminated subsequently reducing my net loss position and debts by over £14000.I have been forced to write this review because these companies continue to take advantage of vulnerable customers and are now refusing to communicate. I will look at how to submit these communications to date across to the UKGC for review as I dont believe they have engaged in responding to the allegations or resolving the matter. Beware of this company

Dont know why some people are saying this site is a scam i can assure you its a million miles from a scam . I only had my account suspended for security reasons which was dealt with by phone call which was efficient and without problems. I also received my funds within the hour . I urge more people to use star sports the app is good to use and easy to navigate 👍

Star Sports deserves one star. Their betting limits are a joke a £5 max bet on racing is pointless. It’s hard to take them seriously when other bookmakers let you wager properly. Feels like they only want small stakes but still pretend to be a big bookie. Not worth the time if you bet more than pocket change.

Absolutely shocking ! Was warned my account would be closed within 48hrs unless I sent in my ID documents so I did ! Couldnt send utility bill as they are all in my husbands name so sent my Drivers licence ...has address on it Debit card details ...covered first 8 numbers and CVC . Told them I had no utility bill and why so sent my pay slip . Had email asking had I any other form of income as THEY have to set my deposit limit ? really? I was under impression I set deposit limit/spend limit etc !? But they wanted more info on other income i had! At this point I thought NO! close account plz . Dont trust them very dodgy !! Shall report to trading standards and fraud !!
